In school field trip

Today we had a special guest from the BLM. She came to Carberry to introduce us to two raptors. A hawk and an owl. The kids learned so much (as I did too!)

We are finishing up our unit on animals next week. Your child might be talking about a specific animal from the zoo that they are researching. They are learning how to write a research paper on the information they find. Sometime in May we will be visiting the zoo for our field trip.

Parent appreciation night...our door (and Miss Bauer's)

What a fun night! Thanks to all of you that share your children with us everyday!

Happy 100th day of school

Did you know your child is 100 days smarter in third grade? Well it's true! We celebrated our 100th day of school today  dressed as our 100 year old self!

How fun!!!!

Less than 100 days left of third grade! Where has the year gone?

First time mad minute doughnut eaters

Congrats to our first time doughnut eaters... These awesome mathematicians (missing Stevie Howe) have passed off their addition mad minutes! Way to go guys!

There is still time for your child to earn a doughnut! They have until Thanksgiving break to get their addition mad minutes passed! Good luck!!!

Monster mash

Boy are we tired! Thanks to everybody that came out! What a great night!!! I only got one picture with only one of our students, but we were so busy!!

Doesn't Larissah look wonderful?

We are excited to see everybody dressed up at our Haloween party!

Getting creative

Finally a fun art project! We might not do a whole lot, but we will try to do more!

The kids all enjoyed getting out the water colors! Make sure you check out their scarecrows in the hallway during conferences next week!
